Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP)

At Grace Recovery Services, our Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) provides a structured yet flexible level of care for individuals who need more support than traditional outpatient services but do not require 24-hour residential treatment. IOP is ideal for those stepping down from inpatient care, transitioning back into daily life, or seeking intensive help while continuing to work, attend school, or care for family.

Clients typically attend three days per week for three hours per session. During this time they participate in group therapy, individual counseling, and skill-building workshops that address the underlying drivers of addiction. Our program blends clinical best practices with compassionate, personalized support to help participants build a strong foundation for long-term sobriety.

We focus on helping each person develop healthy coping strategies, repair relationships, and create sustainable routines that support recovery in real-world settings. Every treatment plan is tailored to the individual’s unique history, challenges, and goals.

    What sets us apart

    Our Distinctives

Grace Recovery Services was built on three core commitments that shape every interaction, every program, and every step of your recovery journey.

    Trauma-Informed Care

We recognize that trauma is often at the root of addiction. Our trauma-informed approach ensures your treatment is sensitive to your past experiences, providing a safe and supportive environment where healing can truly begin.

    Whole-person healing

    Faith-Based Options

We believe faith can be a powerful source of strength and hope in recovery. Our faith-based options allow you to integrate spiritual beliefs into your treatment — offering a holistic approach that nurtures both your physical and spiritual well-being.

    Spirit, mind & body

    Relational Process

Your relationship with us begins at first contact. Our care team will get to know you as a person — not just your addiction. They'll connect you with the right counselor and program based on your unique needs and recovery goals.

    You are known here

"So then, while we have opportunity, let us do good to all people, and especially to those who are of the household of faith."

    — Galatians 6:10

    Our IOP Approach

At Grace Recovery Services we go beyond standard group sessions to create a truly transformative experience. Our IOP is intentionally designed around three integrated pillars that set us apart: deep relational connection, practical life rebuilding, and ongoing spiritual formation.

Relational Healing Recovery flourishes in community. Small group sizes allow genuine connection with both peers and counselors. Participants are truly known and supported as whole people—not just their addiction history. This relational focus helps rebuild trust, reduce isolation, and model healthy interpersonal dynamics that translate directly into family and work life.

Life Skills & Relapse Prevention We equip participants with concrete tools for everyday challenges. Sessions cover stress management, emotional regulation, boundary setting, financial basics, healthy communication, and trigger identification. Clients leave each week with actionable steps they can practice immediately, turning insight into lasting habits.

Spiritual Integration & Growth For those who desire it, we offer optional faith-based components woven naturally into the program. Clients explore how scripture, prayer, and a relationship with God can provide strength, identity, and hope. Many find that spiritual practices become a powerful anchor during difficult moments and a source of joy in their new life in recovery.

Our IOP is more than treatment — it is a supportive launchpad for a restored, purposeful life. Clients build confidence, community, and clarity as they move forward with dignity and hope.

Integrating Biblical & Clinical Care — a four-step path to lasting freedom

    Faith-integrated Evidence-based
    1

    Take Off the Mask

Grace counselors act as a mirror reflecting back to you how God actually sees you. Imagine embracing how God sees you rather than putting on a mask.

    2

    Heal the Wounds

Our counselors help you unpack your pain. Once you've located the root issues, you'll work together to create healing for your wounds.

    3

    Remove the Toxins

While it's tempting to create another mask, our integrated counseling helps you remove the toxic beliefs that are rotting you.

    4

    Replace with the Truth

Once you have healed the root causes and removed the toxic lies you've believed, you can integrate the truth about yourself and finally be free.

    Matthew 11:28-30

“Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.”
